Juan Miguel Grisolía

JUAN MIGUEL GRISOLIA was born in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, on October 19, 1984; Education: Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (Master of Political Science; Degree in Law, Cum Laude, 1971). A member of the College of Attorneys of the Dominican Republic; International Member of the American Bar Association; Former Director of Fundación Institucionalidad y Justicia, Inc., and Treasurer of Confederación Patronal de la República Dominicana (COPARDOM) -- a federation of employers --. Languages: Spanish, English and Italian.

He worked as an in house lawyer and then Vice President of a conglomeration of international companies from 1971 until 1982, when he established his own practice called “Grisolia & Asociados”; alongside his father Carlos Grisolia Poloney and Andres Bobadilla, the firm later taking the name of “Grisolia & Bobadilla”. Until the year 2010, when together with his closest associates he once again opened a practice of his own retaking the original name of “Grisolia & Asociados”.

He has had an outstanding practice in several areas of the law, including: civil, commercial, aeronautical, maritime, fiscal, tourism, administrative, amongst many others.

Carmen Yolanda de la Cruz Cabreja

CARMEN YOLANDA DE LA CRUZ CABREJA, born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, March 10, 1965; Education: Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Advanced Studies Diploma of the interdepartmental doctoral program on Fundamental Rights in Contemporary Democracy, 2006); Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (Degree in Law, Cum Laude, 1986); Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (Diploma in Aeronautical Law; Civil Procedure, 2000); A member of the College of Attorneys in the Dominican Republic. Languages: Spanish.

She joined the firm on the year 1987. Partnering with Juan Miguel Grisolia and Eddy Garcia Godoy to fund the current office known as “Grisolia & Asociados” in 2010. Since then she has had an outstanding practice in different areas of law and especially in the area of litigation.

Through her professional practice, Carmen Yolanda de la Cruz Cabreja has demonstrated a commitment to Legal Ethics, a principle that governs the practice of the firm, and that has earned her the trust of her clients. Eddy García-Godoy

EDDY GARCIA-GODOY was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, August 2, 1965. Education: Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña (Degree in law, 1989); A member of the College of Attorneys of the Dominican Republic. Languages: Spanish and English.

He joined the firm in 1989. In the year 2010, alongside Juan Miguel Grisolia and Carmen Yolanda de la Cruz he opened the office known as “Grisolia & Asociados”, since then having an outstanding practice in different areas of the law.
